We are powered by which has been in business for over 40 years. Tools Plus started business back in 1979 selling hand and power tools and Woodworking Machinery. In addition to the 9000 sq/ft retail store, we have a new modern state-of–the-art Distribution Center located at 60 Scott Rd., Prospect, CT. This distribution center features a computer-based order fulfillment system that allows Tool Parts Store to accurately and efficiently fill on-line orders and keep the store replenished.

Tools Parts Store welcomes all tool users from the US and around the world. We ship to all 50 states, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and other US protectorates, Military APOs and FPOs. ( Free shipping on all orders ONLY applies to the Contiguous 48 states. Alaska nor Hawaii are not eligible for free shipping ). PLUS all destinations in the world serviced by UPS, FedEx, US Postal Service or DHL (customer needs to use own account for DHL).

Time expectancies: (Top)

All orders for Stock Merchandise received by 1:00pm E.S.T. Monday-Friday should be shipped within 24 hours (every effort is made to ensure that your order is sent the day it arrives) except during some peak times and you can always email or call us for up-to-date status. Next day, 2nd day, 3-day select air service does not include Saturday or Sunday. If Saturday delivery is required, please email us.

For fraud protection, we will only ship air packages to locations on file with the credit card company. This is for the protection of the cardholder and Tool Parts Store.

Tracking/Shipping Notification (Top)

Prior to shipping, you can track the progress of your order using our Online Tracking Utility. Upon shipment this utility will display your tracking information, and you will also be sent and e-mail containing tracking information. You can also email us for your order status.

Backorders: (Top)

If your order cannot be shipped due to a backorder situation, you will be notified via email. Typically, we will tag any item that is currently on backorder giving you the option to order now and have shipped when available, or be notified when available for shipping, or to cancel and reorder at a later date. Customer is responsible for shipping charges on backordered items.

International Order Information (Top) offers international shipping to our customers. Your Shipping and Handling Options and Prices are available to you during checkout.

We utilize the US Postal Service (limited to 70lbs) and UPS to locations outside the 48 states. Just select the service you prefer and hit the Apply button, and it'll automatically quote a shipping and handling price for you.

If you are not able to get a price during checkout, just choose "Other (explain in Comments)" from the Shipping and Handling Options drop-down, and a customer service person will get back to you as soon as possible

Please understand we can't be responsible for border delays, customs denials, or other delays. Customer takes ownership of merchandise once it ships.

Approved payments for international orders are Credit Cards, Wire Transfer (additional wire transfer fee of $30 will apply).

Regulatory Requirements: All our power tool parts meet US requirements and require between 110-120 volts, but we can't promise that the tool parts will meet your country's regulations (i.e., CSA, CA, or UL approved, etc.). You should check with the manufacturer prior to placing your order.

Taxes, Duties etc (if any) are the responsibility of the customer.

Return Policy (Top)

Tool Parts Store will credit you for any regular inventory part returned unused in packaging for any reason within 30 days of original purchase. Please e-mail us to receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. The RMA number will expedite the return process and ensure that you receive your refund as soon as possible. Exception: A 30% restocking fee applies to any Special Order/Non-Inventory Part. Please Note: Electronic-sensitive parts (switches, circuit boards, motors, fields, armatures, etc.) are NON-RETURNABLE which is due to manufacturers' policies.

Mark attention: Returns Department and RMA Number and we will promptly credit your account in the same manner you purchased (i.e., credit card or check) for the part. A confirmation of your credit will be e-mailed to you immediately. Customer is responsible for all freight charges unless it was shipped in our error.

Special Order Parts/Non-Inventory Parts (Top)

We stock thousands of parts at the Tools Plus, Prospect, CT Automated Distribution Warehouse for many power tool parts, however, we do not stock every tool part.

Tool Parts Store shows inventory status for every part that we normally have "in-stock". We do special orders for non-inventoried tool parts directly from the manufacturers listed on our Brands Page. If you do not see the tool part that you are interested in, please click on the “Suggest a Part” link below and a customer service representative will get back to you as soon as possible. A $10.00 minimum order requirement does apply to all Special Order Parts or any Part you do not see on our website. If your part order does not meet that minimum, an additional charge will be added to satisfy that minimum requirement. We require payment up front for all special orders. Payment will be charged when the order is placed with the manufacturer, not when the order is shipped out.

Special Order Tool Parts do require an additional lead time. Please allow at least 1-2 weeks for your special order, non-inventory tool part to arrive at our Prospect Warehouse for shipment out to you.

Expedited Special Order Parts (Shipping direct from Manufacturer): Special order parts do have an approximate lead time of 1-2 weeks. If you cannot wait that long, we do offer you the ability to have the part shipped direct from the manufacturer. This method generally saves you time, as the part does not have to ship to us first. However, we cannot guarantee you exact arrival dates (such as overnight or two-day air), as the shipping process is out of our direct control. There is a service fee charge of $10 which is in addition to normal shipping costs. This service charge is due to manufacturer service charges and processing fees.

Return of Special Order Parts: We encourage everyone to be certain of the part you are special ordering, by contacting the specific manufacturer via the contact information listed on the manufacturer page. Tool Parts Store will credit you for any special order tool part returned “unused” in packaging within 30 days of original purchase, however, a 30% restocking fee does apply to special order parts only.
